Experience and Expertise
My name is Gavin ALEXANDER Expose, and I am a writer of many things. I discovered my gift as a poet at the age of 9. During grade school, my 5th grade teacher would assign the class a topic to write about at the start of the day. The format in which we were to respond could be fiction or non-fiction. We were given 15 minutes to write, and the option to read our short stories aloud. I always volunteered. I noticed how my creative writing skills not only captured my classmates, but my teacher as well. From that moment, I knew I was on to something. Hip Hop and R&B music would later influence me to write and record mixtapes and extended plays. Lyrically, I saw much success which I credit to complex metaphors, creative rhyme schemes, and relatable song writing capabilities. During my college career, I took multiple semesters of British and American Literature. Whilst attending lectures, I developed a profound appreciation for couplets and stanzas which I credit to the literary works of Geoffrey Chaucer, Christopher Marlowe, and Langston Hughes. Years of passionate and creative writing bring us here, to the birth of Alexander Writings. My mission is to uplift the discouraged, provide support to those in need through means of educational and entertainment purposes, and spread journalism whether creatively or informative throughout the world.
My mind is a museum, you may explore for hours. Every item on display is a symbol of power. The paintings of a saint sings, honorable favor to embrace Kings. The LORD is my master, divine patterns through chapters, allow for capture of the imagination. A clash of nature, maybe a perfect storm. A million hues you depict which colours the canvas calls. The ambience of opulent art could possibly spark a ray of light across of generation, less it grow dark.
I cherish the arts; whether it be culinary, theatre, film, music, ballet, opera, or Italian Renaissance. A small seed planted in a fifth grade classroom would turn into what you feast your eyes on today. Words are powerful. They have depth, intricate meaning, and the ability to take your on a limitless journey. I welcome you to explore my mind. Enjoy the voyage.
